Michael Kuckelman, Stephen Torline, James Kirkland and Kathryn Lewis have formed a new civil litigation firm in Overland Park. The firm, which formed in January, has leased office space at 10740 Nall Ave. and will create 14 new jobs.
“We are very pleased with our decision to establish our new firm in Overland Park, Kansas,” said Kuckelman. “We know that Overland Park will provide us the business environment we need to be successful for years to come.”
The firm will lease 8,000 square feet and make $2.3 million in capital investment in the Nall Avenue location. Kuckelman and Lewis were formally with Warden Grier LLP, while Torline worked for Husch Blackwell LLP. Kirkland had been counsel for RED Development, after working at the former Sonnenschein, Nath & Rosenthal.
“I congratulate Kuckelman, Torline, Kirkland and Lewis on forming their new firm and for their commitment to establishing that firm and creating jobs in Kansas,” said Kansas Commerce Secretary Pat George. “I look forward to the firm’s future growth and success.”
The firm represents clients in civil litigation throughout the Midwest and the United States.
