Registration is now open for the 2013 Kansas Energy Conference, which will be held Oct. 1-2 in Manhattan.
WHAT: The Kansas Energy Conference will highlight the latest developments in the renewable energy industry. The day-and-half conference will feature three general sessions and several breakout sessions focusing on different areas of the renewable energy sector, including community and business renewable energy options, wind energy, transportation, education, agriculture, research and the integration of natural gas and renewable energies.
WHERE/WHEN: 8:45 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Oct. 1, and 9 a.m.-noon, Oct. 2 at the Manhattan Conference Center, 410 S. Third St., Manhattan, Kan. 66502. Exhibits are open 10 a.m.-6:30 p.m., Oct. 1, and 8:30 a.m.-noon, Oct. 2. A reception is planned from 4:30-6:30 p.m., Oct. 1.
