The Miller Group announces move to Overland Park

The Miller Group, one of Kansas City’s largest locally owned, full-service insurance and employee benefit firms, announced that it will move its headquarters to 6363 College Boulevard, Overland Park. Leased space in the new facility will be almost double that of The Miller Group’s current space. In the larger facility, the company expects to create 80 jobs during the next five years.

“We’ve been crowded in our current space for quite some time,” said Sean Miller, CEO of The Miller Group. “Our steady client growth over the last several years requires additional investment in technology, facilities and people. While we’ve had a good run at this location, the time is right for us to make a move.”

The Miller Group required additional office space to better serve the needs of the existing staff and to accommodate future growth. Its new facility enables a significant increase in staff, provides for increased technological capabilities and addresses the firm’s need for client meetings and trainings that occur regularly throughout the year.

The company expects to move in late September.

“It’s great that Kansas is able support the needs of a growing firm such as The Miller Group,” Kansas Commerce Secretary Pat George said. “When businesses choose our state as the ideal place to invest and create good jobs, it benefits all Kansans.”

“Growth due to success and outstanding leadership are two components essential for a prospering company like The Miller Group,” said Overland Park Mayor Carl Gerlach. “Its move into Overland Park to accommodate both a growing work force and customer base is a great indicator that The Miller Group lives up to its brand of MillerCares. The city of Overland Park welcomes The Miller Group and wishes it continued success.”
