The company will expand at its facility at 2814 West Jones Avenue.

“Palmer has been creating good manufacturing jobs in Kansas for many years,” Kansas Commerce Secretary Pat George said. “It’s exciting that the company has decided to expand in Garden City. The new jobs will help drive economic growth in our state.”

Incorporated in 1971, Palmer Manufacturing and Tank has been building tanks for more than 45 years. Palmer manufactures its fiberglass tanks using different types of resins that are designated for the type of application needed. The company’s tanks meet the codes of Underwriters Laboratories, the American Petroleum Institute and the Steel Tank Institute.
